I am always impressed with what a healing conversation can do. We will complete an initial assessment together, create a treatment plan and work through your concerns right away. I specialize in treating stress, anxiety, depression, anger, and trauma (including duty-related PTSD).
I may recommend talk therapy, psychology education, coping skills training, Buddhist Psychology practices, and/or EMDR therapy. Meditation, in-session note taking, and therapy homework are a normal part of my practice if it suits you and your needs.
I think what I love the most about being a therapist is applying psychology so that it is useful. Whether you just want to talk or have a specific concern, counseling is helpful. You do not have to feel so stressed or upset.
